Striker Reo Griffiths was our Under-18s' top scorer in 2017-18.
Netting four hat-tricks in all competitions - including two in home games against Arsenal - he ended the campaign with 32 goals in 27 appearances at that level, in addition to one goal in six Under-19 UEFA Youth League games. He also stepped up to make four appearances for the Under-23s.
Born in Highgate, Reo played for Leyton Orient before joining us. He attended Chingford Foundation School and won a host of honours with their football team including three London Cups and four Essex Cups.
He made one appearance for our Under-18s in 2015-16, against Aston Villa, and was prolific in front of goal for our Under-16s, scoring over 30 goals.
Occasionally playing out wide but normally found at centre-forward, he proved a handful in the area in 2016-17 and returned a healthy 11 goals from 17 Under-18 Premier League appearances. He scored twice in six FA Youth Cup appearances, three of which came from the bench, also netted twice in three matches in the UEFA Youth League and featured three times for the Under-23s in the Premier League 2. He was also an IMG Cup winner with our Under-18s in Florida in December, 2016.
Called into the England Under-17s squad at the end of 2016-17, he featured once at the European Under-17 Championship, where the Young Lions lost out in the final on penalties.
