Members of our Official Supporters’ Clubs today volunteered at the weekly community kitchen held at the Antwerp Arms in Tottenham.
Josh Sandhu and Pete Mitchell from Punjabi Spurs were joined by Sean Price from Yorkshire Spurs and were also lent a hand by none other than Ledley King.
The kitchen is run 12noon-1.30pm every Tuesday afternoon at ‘The Annie’, providing free meals for local people in need.
The Club became a shareholder at North London’s first ‘community pub’ - a popular spot for our fans on matchdays - when it became threatened with closure in 2014.
Today, the pub is run by dedicated volunteers from the local community and they team up with the Haringey Citizens Advice Bureau and Crutch Haringey to run the weekly kitchen.

Our Supporters’ Clubs around the world are renowned for their charitable work in the name of the Club and this is the latest example.
Ledley said: “Since retirement I have travelled across the country and around the world meeting our Supporters’ Clubs and the lengths they go to in support of the Club.
“Full credit to Josh, Pete and Sean for taking the time out of their day to help such a cause right on the Club’s doorstep – I was more than happy to lend a hand.”
